Do you have a passion for aviation, software and technology? The Boeing Innovation Lab in Frankfurt is focused on addressing new and evolving trends and technologies through ground-breaking innovative ideas. Topics range from future flight operations, prototyping new products and services for commercial aviation, simulation evaluation and simulation-driven human factors analyses. You will work in an interdisciplinary team, located in Neu-Isenburg, Germany and connected with stakeholders worldwide.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a Master's or Bachelor's degree program in one of the following areas: Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, UX/UI Design or comparable program
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle new and unfamiliar topics
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal
  • Ability to work on-site

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Understanding of concepts and paradigms in real-time computing, visualization and simulation of real-world systems as well as design and development of human-machine interfaces
  • Experience developing in any or multiple of the following languages or tools: Javascript/Typescript, Python, C++, Matlab Simulink, Figma, Unreal Engine
  • Experience in software engineering in a developing role
  • Experience in working with common version control systems like git
  • Ability to work well within an international team and to be proactive in shaping ideas and sharing results.
  • Ability to think abstractly and to connect your ideas to products and solutions
  • Enthusiasm and excitement for new projects to shape new ideas
  • German is not required but beneficial
