The MALTA team at Grab establishes and refines the software foundations and infrastructure for all Grab mobile apps, aiming to enhance productivity and deliver stable, scalable, and secure products with top quality and speed. They follow principles of scalable mobile architectures, consolidating reusable assets, pervasive automation, and continuous delivery for all mobile apps.
Get to Know the Role
The MALTA team at Grab focuses on creating and refining the software foundations and infrastructure for all Grab mobile apps. We follow principles of building scalable mobile architectures, consolidating reusable software assets, using automation, and driving continuous delivery for mobile applications. You will report to the Software Engineering Manager. This is a paid internship role and is based onsite in Petaling Jaya.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will develop next-generation mobile frameworks and components for high-quality software delivery.
- You will develop common mobile architecture and methodologies for the team.
- You will work with teams to enhance the mobile developer experience.
- You will ensure rapid, secure delivery of mobile apps through efficient CI pipelines and tooling.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Only for candidates who are available to start in July 2025.
- Your studies as an Undergraduate in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- You have understanding of SOLID principles, Data structures, and design patterns.
- You have knowledge on developing mobile applications
- You have basic knowledge in C/Swift/JJAVA
