Key Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments, analysing and processing experimental data, analyzing and sorting out unqualified data
- Research activities might include – cell culture, protein purification, concentration test, SDS-PAGE, Western blot analysis, endotoxin test, HPLC and LC-MS test analysis of protein samples
- Setting up experiments, running samples and writing experimental records
- Participate in multiple R & D projects as part of the field project team
- Responsible for proper documentation of experimental records
- Participate in routine lab hygiene activities including 5S of work areas, stocktaking and consumable replenishment and performing routine checks and maintenance on the equipment to ensure it is working correctly
- Following all safety protocols and SOPs to ensure that a safety working environment is provided for all.
- Complete other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor
Key Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent
- Familiar with the experimental operation of SDS-PAGE, Western blots, LC-MS, HPLC and other protein detection
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good team working skills
