What you’ll do

  • Role Experience: Participate in a full-time internship for approximately 10-12 weeks at our Portland, OR location within the Industrial/Crushing group, gaining hands-on experience with heavy machinery and mining equipment.

  • Daily Responsibilities: Collaborate with industry experts and engineers on impactful projects, applying mechanical engineering principles to support product development and innovation.

  • Success Metrics: Demonstrate growth in technical and business skills, contribute meaningfully to team projects, and show enthusiasm for learning and safety.

  • Travel Requirements: Minimal to no travel expected during the internship period.

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you’ll bring
Must-haves:

  • Pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree, entering third or fourth year of college.

  • Strong interest in heavy machinery and mining equipment.

  • Commitment to full-time internship for 10-12 weeks onsite in Portland, OR.

  • Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute in a professional engineering environment.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Previous internship or project experience related to mechanical engineering or heavy equipment.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Enthusiasm for sustainability and innovation in engineering.
