Intern, Product Security Engineer
As part of the march towards our vision of building a powerful user engagement platform, we are putting together a world class Security-Team to help secure our customers' data and earn their trust. Specifically, we are looking for a Product Security Engineering Intern to come join our amazing Security Team and work on some cutting edge problems.
What you will do
- Collaborate with our Product Security Engineers to assist in evaluating and enhancing security measures within applications.
- Research and identify new attacks against SendBird’s products.
- Research mitigations to prevent the recurrence of previously identified issues.
Experience and skills
- Knowledge of web application security concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, preferably AWS or GCP.
- Experience with automation using Python.
- Basic understanding of threat modeling.
Bonus Points
- Experience presenting at conferences or contributing to open-source projects.
- Experience with developing security tools or scripts.
- Experience with Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and building custom rules.
- Participation in bug bounty programs or Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions.
- Fluent in English
