Overview of Role
We are currently looking for an intern for a 6-12 month internship to join Wealth Management Switzerland's Private Markets team. This is a particularly compelling opportunity to join a highly qualified team, providing the successful candidate with an excellent platform to broaden and deepen their experience across the banking and private markets landscape.
Responsibilities
- Support the sales and marketing effort across the entire Private Markets offering, including regular updates of sales decks, marketing presentations and product materials
- Carry out market research and ad‑hoc analyses to support investment and sales initiatives
- Prepare materials for client updates, consolidating fund information, performance data and client‑specific reporting needs
- Support for the preparation of investors’ reporting
- Support clients' portfolio health checks and cashflow projections
- Support fund due diligence processes
- Other ad-hoc projects & administrative requirements
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master in Economics or Finance, Commercial degree, bank apprenticeship or similar
- Very strong Excel skills
- Proficient in MS Office
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
- Completed Internship in the financial industry is considered a plus
- Knowledge and interest in financial markets and private banking
- Fluent communication skills in English and French (written and spoken)
- Commercial ability
- Clear communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt messages to different audiences
- Proactive can-do attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative, attention to detail and reliability, flexibility, commitment and responsibility
