Intern - Internal Audit

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Audit Intern to join our Internal Audit team in Paramus, New Jersey. This is a part-time, ongoing internship designed for current students in their junior or senior year, available to work during the academic year. The internship offers hands-on experience in corporate auditing within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Work Schedule:

• Up to 25 hours per week
• During normal office hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Flexible around academic schedules
• This is not a summer-only or semester-based internship

This is a PAID internship at $15.50/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Assist internal auditors with day-to-day tasks and assigned audit projects
• Prepare detailed, well-supported audit workpapers documenting audit procedures and conclusions
• Perform tests of internal controls in accordance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements
• Assist with updates, analysis and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support department initiatives

Qualifications:

• Current junior or senior undergraduate student, or enrolled in a graduate program, majoring in Accounting or Audit
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to follow instructions, comfortable to ask questions and follow-up questions with professional courtesy.
• Strong work ethic & communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
