As we scale our impact, strong people systems are key to sustaining and deepening our work. The Human Resources function plays a vital role in strengthening TAP’s culture, supporting recruitment and engagement, and ensuring that our people practices enable every team member to thrive. 
This internship offers hands-on experience in HR operations and talent acquisition — helping you learn how people systems power social impact in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.

Who We’re Looking For
  • We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven individual to support TAP’s Human Resources function.
  • As an Intern - HR, you will play an important role in supporting recruitment operations, managing data, and coordinating engagement initiatives across teams.
  • This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, is proactive in follow-ups, and wants to learn how effective HR systems build strong organizations.

About The Role

Location: Remote 

Time Commitment: 30 hours per week 

Compensation: ₹5000 per month

Reports to: Senior HR Manager/ Sr. Associate

Type: Part-Time 

What You’ll Do
Talent Acquisition Support
  • Support the Talent Acquisition process across teams and functions.
  • Check pre-work sheets, tag and follow up with Points of Contact (POCs) for hiring activities.
  • Assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates and panel members.
  • Send out status update emails as required.
  • Post and monitor job openings on various recruitment platforms.
  • Maintain and update candidate trackers and hiring dashboards on ATS/HRMS systems.
  • Conduct basic analysis on sourcing effectiveness and hiring cycles.

HR Operations & Data Management
  • Support the HR team in maintaining databases, trackers, and employee documentation.
  • Assist in generating periodic reports and ensuring data accuracy across HR systems.
  • Provide operational and administrative support in documentation and compliance-related processes.

Employee Engagement & Communication
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of employee engagement activities and recognition programs.
  • Support in preparing internal communication materials, presentations, and HR updates.
  • Help coordinate logistics for virtual town halls, reviews, and organization-wide sessions.

Process & Research Assistance
  • Support implementation of HR tools, systems, and new processes.
  • Conduct short research tasks (e.g., HR trends, sourcing channels, and process improvements).
  • Follow up with cross-functional teams to ensure timely closure of assigned HR tasks.

International Partnership Coordination
  • Support in preparing partnership proposals, presentations, and communication materials for prospective awards, panels etc for founders.
  • Help manage communication channels and engagements with international stakeholders.

Who You Are
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A team player who is eager to learn and contribute to a high-impact, mission-driven environment.

Bonus: Prior internship or coursework in HR, recruitment, or organizational management.
