Robeco has over 25 years of experience in thematic investing and currently manages more than EUR 15 billion across 13 thematic strategies. Our team of around 40 investment professionals – including portfolio managers, analysts, client portfolio managers, and investment specialists – is based in Zurich and Rotterdam. We actively manage thematic equity funds and mandates for a global client base spanning Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.
As an Intern on the Thematic Investing team, you will work closely with portfolio managers to support research and investment activities. Your contributions will help drive investment performance and support the growth and retention of assets within our thematic strategies. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain deep insights into our Investment organisation and develop a strong understanding of investment products, portfolios, and processes. By collaborating within a dynamic, multicultural team, you will build the skills and knowledge needed to work more independently with key stakeholders over time.
Position & Requirements
Your main responsibilities
Researching and analysing industries related to an investment theme
Supporting the portfolio managers in the analysis and valuation of publicly listed global companies
Assisting portfolio managers in writing investment cases
Requirements & skills
Completed degree in finance, economics or business administration (preferably Master's degree)
Strong interest in equity markets
Financial modelling experience and skills an advantage
Ability to absorb and synthesise new information
Ability to work in a goal oriented and organized manner
Good Excel and PowerPoint skills
Fluent English is required
