We are looking for an intern to join our Institutional Strategy team to support the development and implementation of our ESG and climate impact measurement framework, as well as sustainability-related initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and preparation of sustainability reports in alignment with relevant standards and frameworks
- Assist in conducting carbon accounting and climate impact assessments, including data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Contribute to the development and refinement of GenZero’s ESG and climate impact policies and guidelines
- Research and analyse industry best practices for sustainability measurement, reporting and data management to inform internal processes
- Support research on thought leadership pieces around sustainability and carbon markets, including talking points for speaking engagements
- Plan and coordinate meetings and discussions with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Undergraduate in business, finance, sustainability, environmental science or related disciplines
- Strong interest in sustainability, climate impact or ESG investing
- Excellent research, writing and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel for data analysis is preferred
- Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks will be advantageous
- Demonstrated project management, organisational skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a start-up and fast-paced environment
Minimum availability: 3-month internship (6-months preferred)
