OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS OR FRESH GRADUATES: Paid Internship - Engineering Program Management in Budapest. 

Reporting directly to the Project Manager for the project on which they are working, the Intern Bachelors Engineer’s primary responsibility is to test and commission all items of Honeywell installed or provided equipment to the satisfaction of the customer and/or contractual requirements.

The Intern Bachelors Engineer must ensure that all testing and verification documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner so that all items that are reported to have been tested will be correct when assessed by an independent person such as a consultant.

The Intern Bachelors Engineer must understand the desired outcome of the project as well as the workings of the Honeywell installed product that they are working with.

Responsibilities
  • Testing and checking of each individual item in the system to ensure that the following is correct and verified.
  • Provide feedback to the engineers and DDC programmers of errors and changes that were required due to site based conditions and thereby assist in the production of as installed documentation.
  • Maintain Site Diaries and progress documentation as required by the Project Manager.
  • Ensure applicable local and industry codes and standards are upheld.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate studies in electrical engineering and mechanical engineering are in progress.
  • Willing to develop extensive product knowledge in formal training, and in “on the job” environments, working with latest Honeywell technology.
  • Is a team player that can share best practice and develop engineering teams.
  • Fluent English and Hungarian.
  • Good communication - both verbal and written, self-motivated.
  • The minimum requirement for the number of hours worked per week is 24 hours, maximum 40 hours per week.
