We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Data
Analyst Intern to support our marketing reporting efforts and overall refinement of marketing processes. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a matrixed organization as a member of Lonza’s Global Digital Marketing team. You will be instrumental in translating raw data into meaningful reports and dashboards, enabling our team to make informed decisions that drive growth and improve campaign performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, a solid understanding of data visualization tools, and a keen interest in marketing reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of marketing performance and campaign dashboards using Power BI (or similar tools)

  • Support the compilation and analysis of marketing data from various sources (e.g., CRM, website analytics, advertising platforms)

  • Generate reports and visualizations to track key marketing metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and campaign performance

  • Assist in identifying trends and insights from marketing data to inform strategic decision-making

  • Support the creation and documentation of data processes and reporting procedures

  • Collaborate cross-functionally within the Global Marketing team to ensure data accuracy and consistency

  • Assist in the development of documentation and evaluation of demand and lead generation processes

  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting as needed

  • Ensure a high level of data integrity and attention to detail in all tasks

  • Assist in developing cost-tracking processes that help improve campaign and
    marketing ROI tracking and budget allocation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or pursuing a Master's degree) in Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field

  • Strong proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools, particularly Power BI (or similar tools like Tableau, Looker Studio)

  • Familiarity with marketing reporting concepts and metrics (e.g., website traffic, conversion rates, campaign performance)

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with Excel, SQL, or other data manipulation tools is a plus

  • Experience with CRM software is a plus

  • Experience with project management tools
