Job SummaryWe’re looking for an intern who is eager to grow into a strong DevOps Systems Engineer. You will work alongside our team on real systems, contributing to the development of resilient solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties- Complete assigned tasks and meet deadlines
- Regularly communicate with mentors and team members
- Receive and integrate feedback to drive improvements
- Participate in solution design discussions and provide your input
- Learn and navigate the codebase to contribute to real system’s features, solve problems and complete tasks with minimal guidance
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable infrastructure code with mentorship and code reviews from senior engineers
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and core Computer Science fundamentals
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
- Good experience with Linux OS, the command line, and scripting
- Knowledge of Python or another backend programming language
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud services (EC2, Lambda, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, etc)
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on working in distributed teams
- Proactive continuous learner with good problem-solving skills
- Good written and spoken English
- Knowledge of container orchestration systems (Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and basic data modelling
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
