Wordsmith Advertising/AMIN Turkey (www.wordsmith.com.tr) is a full-service communications agency located in the heart of Istanbul. Our International Section, which specializes in developing and executing communications strategies for European brands in the MENA region is looking for a native English speaker, preferably familiar with the region to join our team as a copywriting intern. 

The intern’s main duty will be to research and write about the marketing efforts in Middle East and North Africa, so the ability to write interesting and accurate content is a must. Your sources will be internal as well as external, so you will have the opportunity to get firsthand insight into the agency’s case studies and success stories and transform our creative and strategic leaders’ experience and knowledge into compelling online communications in a variety of formats. You will also have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the HubSpot system and master the fundamentals of effective inbound marketing.

A liberal arts degree and a passion for the written word are essential for this internship. An analytical mind, a keen understanding of human nature and endless curiosity are major pluses. You should also be prepared to learn by doing, work directly with top people at the agency from the creative team, account team and strategy group, adapting and revising your work in line with their feedback. But we also expect you not just to accept guidance but, when you know you're right, to defend your work and your thinking in the interest of the best possible creative output.
