The Automotive Power Group is seeking a motivated, Product Applications Engineer to provide support to our Auto Power Business Unit located at ADI’s Milan, Italy site. The group consist of 3 people all working to make the best in class Automotive Power products to enable the next evolution in ADAS features and Displays for modern cars.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Provide applications support and circuit development to complete the demo board designs
Build and test custom demonstration circuits for Analog’s power products with topologies ranging from buck, boost, buck-boost, SEPIC, or flyback topologies.
Write Datasheets, Application Notes or Design Articles
Develop Automated Test Solutions for Bench Evaluation
Evaluate Digital and Analog Systems within the ICs for compliance to Data Sheet specifications and Customer Applications.
Minimum qualifications
Close to completing an MSEE, preferably with a concentration in Power Electronics,
Familiar with products containing digital communication
Software programming in Python, C, C++, or C# for PC-based GUI development
Component level analog circuit design, analysis, and debug
PC board layout design techniques
Excellent technical writing skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred qualifications
LabVIEW/MATLAB Automated Bench Test development
SIMPLIS modelling of power supplies or similar application
Automotive power product development including FuSa a plus.
