The Intern-Office Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. This job is on-site 5 days a week at our Tomball office, May through August.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and document control
- Perform data entry and help maintain records in spreadsheets and internal systems
- Help schedule meetings, prepare reports, and organize files
- Conduct time studies on selected recurring tasks to identify potential efficiency improvements
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently.
