We invite a talented and proactive Software Engineer with strong PHP skills and frontend development experience using any JavaScript framework (Angular, React.js) to join our team for an exciting short-term project. In this role, you’ll work with a leading payment processing solution provider serving over 275,000 U.S. businesses. You’ll help integrate their Payroll system and POS software, ensuring top-notch functionality, performance, and reliability.

✅ Is that you?
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with backend development using PHP
- Strong proficiency in modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony)
- Proven expertise in API integration
- Familiarity with frontend JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React.js)
- Strong experience with unit testing
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Upper-Intermediate English level
- Adaptability, autonomy, initiative, and a strong sense of accountability
Desirable:
- Experience with Node.js
- Hands-on experience with Zend
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS
🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution
In this role, you’ll contribute to the successful integration of the client’s Payroll HCM system with restaurant POS APIs, ensuring top-notch performance, reliability, and seamless data flow.
- Develop and maintain backend services using PHP (Laravel)
- Build and support frontend features with Angular
- Integrate and manage APIs to connect Payroll and POS systems
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define technical requirements
- Write unit tests and ensure high code quality standards
- Troubleshoot bugs, integration issues, and performance bottlenecks
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to successful planning and delivery
