We invite an experienced and detail-oriented Test Engineer with strong manual testing skills to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with a leading tech provider in the restaurant industry – a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner with over 30 years of success helping restaurant managers achieve their operational and financial goals. You’ll help develop and maintain a legacy product suite for restaurant operations, covering solutions for work scheduling, payroll, inventory, procurement management, sales forecasting, and accounting.

✅ Is that you?

• 3+ years of manual testing experience with a focus on backend and API testing
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with databases to validate data
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman)
• Strong knowledge of testing principles, QA processes, and SDLC/STLC
• Ability to effectively apply test design techniques when writing test cases and checklists
• Upper-Intermediate English level
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
• Effective collaboration and proactive communication skills
• Accountability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Desirable:

• Experience with desktop application testing
• General understanding of back-office solutions for POS

🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting thorough manual testing for a legacy desktop solution, ensuring its stability, reliability, and overall quality throughout the development lifecycle.

• Analyze project requirements and technical specifications to create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and documentation
• Perform manual testing on backend systems, APIs, and UI components (functional and non-functional testing)
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate data accuracy and integrity
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the team to resolve issues efficiently
• Communicate test results, findings, and feedback clearly to the team and stakeholders
• Participate in team discussions to define scope, address blockers, and align on goals and priorities
• Suggest improvements to testing processes to enhance efficiency and product quality
