- Supporting Linux Infrastructure Compute and Storage functions
- Administer and upgrade Compute Environment in Azure and Hyper-V
- Support Control-M workflow and automation infrastructure
- Support SolarWinds Monitoring infrastructure
- Administer and troubleshoot NetApp/CVO Storage system alerts
- Provide 2nd level Infrastructure support to established service level agreements
- Conduct incident, change and problem management activities per ITIL and Teranet policy
- Work with Development and other Infrastructure teams to support planned changes
- Recommend corrective or enhancement actions for issue resolution or system optimization
- Support scheduled on-call rotations
- Review and seek out automation opportunities within operational procedures
- Represent the team in working groups as required
- Independently solve system problems with minimal supervision and minimal guidance
- Ensuring infrastructure HA, performance and capacity per SLA and best practices
- University Degree, or equivalent experience in the computing field
- 5+ years or more of experience in IT infrastructure support role
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux required (RHCE or equivalent)
- Proficient Scripting skills
- Experience with Azure required (AZ-104 or equivalent)
- Experience with Hyper-V required
- Requisite knowledge and awareness of Network Infrastructure concepts
- Solid understanding of IT security best practices and vulnerability management
- Dependable, reliable performance with an eye on continuous improvement opportunities
- A proactive, take ownership approach to the Infrastructure environment and service levels
- Ability to exercise judgment and if necessary, justify and report actions taken
- Dealing with all system issues and user requests professionally and efficiently
- Excellent Verbal skills and customer support to provide phone support when required
- Excellent Written communications required to document procedures and report on activities
- Ability to efficiently work independently or with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
- Team player who follows procedures in place to provide reactive and proactive support for ‘Mission Critical’ systems.
- BigFix Endpoint Management
- Experience with Windows Server Operating systems (MCSA)
- Strong knowledge of DevOps technologies and automation
- Experience with OCP environments
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator – CKA
- Proficient in NFS and CIFS management
