Intermediate Strong Business Analyst

Leobit (leobit.com) is a full cycle web and mobile application development provider for technology companies and startups primarily located in the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, and the EU (currently Switzerland, Sweden). Our technology focus covers .Net, Angular, iOS, Android, Ruby, React, and a comprehensive range of other technologies from Microsoft, Web, and Mobile Stacks.

Business Analyst will be responsible for requirements gathering, analysis and preparation of detailed functional specification for requirements, identification of the customer’s business goals, and the concept of the solution.

We are looking for an Intermediate Strong Business Analyst to join our team.

Location: Lviv.

• At least 3 years of proven experience as a business analyst, with solid understanding of SDLC and agile practices
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile practices, and product delivery lifecycle
• Skilled in requirements elicitation, analysis, prioritization, and validation, using techniques such as user story mapping, INVEST, PIE, MoSCoW, workshops, process modeling, and prototyping
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to engage both technical and business audiences and facilitate requirement validation sessions
• Strong prioritization skills - able to assess and sequence requirements, tasks, and deliverables effectively to meet goals
• Strong SQL skills for querying, validating, and analyzing data, with understanding of data structures, business terminology, and data consistency principles.
• Experience with analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to interpret and present actionable insights.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools, especially Excel/Google Sheets, including formulas, data analysis, reporting, and presentation preparation.
• Experience creating wireframes, user flows, swimlane diagrams, and other visual documentation using tools (such as Figma, Balsamiq, Visily, Lucidchart, Visio, draw.io, etс)
• Understanding of Generative AI and LLM concepts, with ability to identify practical business and product use cases.
• Skilled in using AI tools for analysis, documentation, research, automation, and productivity improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science (or similar technical field)
• Level of English: Upper-Intermediate (at least)

• Support presales discovery activities and preparation of analysis artifacts under guidance of Senior Business Analysts
• Participate in Discovery activities, including requirements gathering, workshops, and documentation preparation
• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement clarification sessions
• Create and maintain functional documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, diagrams, flowcharts, and data mappings
• Prepare visual supporting materials such as wireframes, user flows, swimlane diagrams, and data flow diagrams
• Maintain backlog items, priorities, and requirement traceability
• Break down features and user stories following INVEST and established backlog management practices
• Support backlog refinement, prioritization, and delivery planning activities with stakeholders and delivery teams
• Collaborate with development, QA, and design teams to clarify requirements and support implementation
• Participate in brainstorming and solution design discussions for new features and improvements
• Support impact analysis and documentation of change requests following defined processes
• Prepare meeting notes, decisions, and action items for internal and external discussions
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation activities, and defect triage discussions
• Maintain up-to-date project, system, and process documentation
• Use AI-assisted tools and modern BA techniques to improve analysis efficiency, documentation quality, and delivery support
