The Role:
We’re looking for an Intermediate .NET Engineer to join our Agile engineering team in UK. You’ll contribute to all facets of the software development lifecycle—design, coding, testing, deployments, and documentation—while providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior colleagues. Your mission: deliver robust, high-quality .NET-based solutions that exceed customer expectations and align with Certn’s technical standards and architecture.
What you will be doing:
Full-Stack .NET Development: Own feature development end-to-end, write C# code, and unit tests to maintain high availability and reliability.
System Observability & Reliability: Ensure our deployed services are instrumented, monitored, and bulletproof in production. Participate in a shared on-call rotation to support critical services and ensure platform reliability during and outside business hours
Documentation & Architecture: Produce clear, high-level architecture diagrams, sequence flows, and risk assessments so everyone knows the “why” behind your code.
Rapid Bug Resolution: Jump on critical bugs, diagnose issues in record time, and unblock customers with lightning-fast fixes.
What You Bring to the Table:
.NET Mastery: Comfortable with C# and the .NET ecosystem, with hands-on experience delivering SaaS software and deploying to Production.
REST API Insight: Solid understanding of REST principles, authentication/authorization, and best practices.
Database Savvy: Deep knowledge of relational databases—schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
Collaborative Mindset: Excellent written and verbal communication; you thrive working cross-functionally with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers..
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to deliver features end-to-end in an Agile environment, consistently meeting or exceeding expectations.
Azure Deployment Experience: Familiarity with deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting applications in Azure.
Mentorship Mojo: A natural at coaching and guiding less-experienced team members to success.
