How you’ll make a difference:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Revit models for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial and institutional buildings. Produce accurate mechanical drawings directly from Revit models
- Prepare contract and tender documentation from Revit models, including drawings and specifications required for approvals, development, and construction cost estimates
- Assist with HVAC load calculations, duct sizing, hydronic pipe sizing, plumbing fixture unit calculations for various types of buildings
- Perform model coordination and clash detection using Revit and Navisworks and or Revitzo, and work with architectural, electrical, and structural teams to resolve conflicts.
- Work with project team members to ensure model quality, coordination, schedules, and QA/QC standards are achieved and maintained
- Carry out Revit-based technical assignments of moderate to high complexity, with guidance from senior staff as required
- Support the mentoring and training of junior mechanical technologists, particularly in Revit modeling and drafting standards
- Participate in all project phases, from schematic design through construction and as-built documentation
- Maintain Revit standards, families, parameters, worksets, and schedules
- Review Revit models and drawings for accuracy, coordination, and compliance with engineering practices and standards
Who you are:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Technology) or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
- Experience in AEC, drafting and design work of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems for commercial and institutional buildings
- Knowledge of building and mechanical codes and standards
- Knowledge of Architectural, Structural, Electrical and Civil discipline requirements.
- Experience with Autodesk Revit MEP and Autodesk Navisworks
...and you'll stand out with:
- LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification (an asset)
- Familiarity with IES VE Building Energy Modelling Software (an asset)

What We Do
Hello. Glad you stopped by. In fact, we were hoping you’d stop by because we’re unabashedly passionate about design and love to connect with those who feel the same.
We’re a team of architects, urban planners, interior designers, structural, mechanical and electrical engineers, and landscape architects who truly believe design can, and should, meaningfully improve the wellbeing of our communities and the environment we all share.
And we don’t just say that. We mean it!
We’ve come together because we see the important challenges facing communities becoming increasingly complex. We believe the diverse perspectives and expertise of our multidisciplinary team uniquely position us to tackle these challenges in ways our competitors can't. We even have clients who would tell you we’ve made the impossible possible!
Our work includes designing for urban vibrancy, health and wellness, transportation, education, arts and culture, residential, retail, and commercial, as well as mixed-use solutions which incorporate an increasing number of these.
As a group of creatives, we’re known as people who think outside the box. But the truth is we’re usually pushing, pulling, cutting, carving, sketching and modelling our clients' needs that eventually become places for communities to enjoy.
If you’re interested in thinking outside the box with us, we want to hear from you
