About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the support function of Davy Select for an Intermediary Support Senior Associate. In the role, the successful candidate will: 

  • Ensure Brokers requirements are understood and met in terms of turnaround and accuracy and that Brokers are consistently provided with excellent customer service;
  • Manage the opening of new accounts and account queries;
  • Liaise with internal teams within Davy Operations;
  • Update broker and client pipelines and Management Information;
  • Provide general administrative support to the Davy Select Account Managers;
  • Actively seek to add value to processes by introducing improvements based upon Broker & Client feedback;
  • Develop a thorough working knowledge of pension and investments and the appropriate product knowledge;
  • Train & mentor junior team members;
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects & business development as required.
  • Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role.

Requirements

About you

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: 

  • A Business/Finance degree or equivalent;
  • QFA qualification and willingness to sit the CFP;
  • Experience and knowledge of settlements and operations;
  • A proven record in reconciliation and control;
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Good numeric skills;
  • Customer service focused with a record of providing excellent customer service;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Excellent organisational skills;
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines;
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, flexible outlook and a high level of initiative and enthusiasm;
