Interiors Responsibility Center South Carolina (IRCSC) is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager (Level L) in Ladson, South Carolina on 1st shift.
You will develop and execute integrated plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved, as well as align authority and responsibilities of Frontline Leaders to execute all aspects of the IRCSC strategy.
You will also review implementation plans, make appropriate adjustments, and resolve issues, along with coaching, counseling, mentoring and providing developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance teammate performance and expand capabilities of Frontline Leaders and others. In this role, you will also promote employee engagement and build an organizational culture that improves employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads operations across multiple interiors commodities in support of the IRCSC production system
- Responsible for the operational rate readiness of the manufacturing area within the IRCSC production system to support future 787 rate demand, as well as BGS aftermarket growth
- Manages and integrates employee and first-level manager activities within area of responsibility
- Integrates with the greater IRCSC leadership team to grow the site and culture
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in a management role
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering
- 5+ years of experience analyzing and applying metrics to enable key business decisions and process improvement
- 5+ years of experience establishing relationships and strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience with rate and capacity processes
- Experience working in the 787 Program

Summary pay range: $141,950 - $192,050
