Purpose of the Role
We're looking for a qualified accountant to take ownership of consolidated financial accounting, management accounting and statutory reporting across the Together Group. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you'll play a central role in shaping how the Group reports and understands its financial performance — with genuine exposure to senior stakeholders, international entities, and high-impact projects like M&A integration.
Key Responsibilties
• Own month-end financial management across TG Group entities — reviewing and submitting P&L, balance sheet and cashflow deliverables to the Group reporting team, with clear commentary on variances against budget, forecast and prior periods.
• Shape Group policy — research, develop and help implement financial policies across the Group and its agencies.
• Be a key partner in the Group Audit process and other regulatory requirements, coordinating deliverables across the business.
• Oversee accounts receivable/payable processes and drive detailed analysis across P&L, balance sheet and sub-ledgers.
• Take ownership of intercompany and group reporting, proactively resolving discrepancies before they become problems.
• Help build and refine the policies and procedures that underpin our financial reporting.
• Get involved in M&A and restructuring activity, supporting smooth integration as the Group grows.
• Build genuine relationships with stakeholders across the business — including our investment partners and senior leaders globally — bringing cultural awareness to every interaction in a truly international group.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• A recognised accounting qualification.
• Strong, demonstrable technical accounting expertise.
• Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• A self-starter mentality — you take ownership and follow through.
• Sharp numeracy and a meticulous approach to accuracy.
• Confident communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfort working with agility in a fast-moving, matrix, international organisation.
• Relevant sector experience is a plus, but not essential.
