Role Purpose:

Following the carve-out into a new standalone, international PE-backed group, we are looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Interim Financial Planning Analyst to build the group's financial planning models from the ground up.

The role will build integrated P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow models, supporting the annual budget, long-range plan, scenario analysis and forecasting, with investor-grade outputs for management, Board and PE shareholders.

What you will do:

• Build new integrated P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow models from scratch, appropriately reflecting the group's international entities and currencies, with scenarios and project overlays.

• Build the quarterly forecast, annual budget and multi-year long-range plan, (covering revenue, headcount, costs, capex, working capital and cash, overlays and assumptions to investor standard)

• Build flexible scenario and sensitivity modelling around key commercial and operational drivers.

• Produce clear Board and PE investor-grade presentations and outputs.

• Incorporate relevant subscription/SaaS KPIs, such as ARR, retention, churn and recurring revenue, where appropriate.

• Work directly with senior stakeholders across the international group to establish and challenge assumptions.

We're looking for:

• Qualified accountant with at least 5 years’ PQE working in a Private-equity business.

• Must have personally built financial planning models from the ground up, ideally following a carve-out or creation of a standalone international group. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills essential.

• Experience in a data or information-services business preferred; exposure to SaaS/subscription metrics desirable.

• Hands-on, strong communication skills, commercially minded and comfortable with ambiguity. Must hit the ground running, work independently and turn incomplete information into robust models quickly.

Salary: The day rate for this role is £450-550£ and FTC of 6 months

Final offer amount depends on multiple factors such as candidates experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data.

This is an interim role based at CDP’s London office. Interested applicants must be eligible to work legally in the UK and live within a commutable distance of the London office and be comfortable with 3 days in the office per week. We cannot sponsor this role.
