Ventus Executive Solutions (VES) is seeking an All-Source Intelligence Planner with experience in development of concept of operations, concept of employment, and intelligence threat briefs to join our exciting team providing support to the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)). This team constructs, manages, and conducts discrete mission engineering and analysis study tasks to evaluate the efficacy of legacy architectures and new technologies and capabilities applied in new mission concepts of employment to meet evolving joint mission objectives.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in technical writing and presentation development skills. The person in this role will coordinate with combatant commands, service intelligence centers, the intelligence community and future force planners to review and receive feedback on scenarios, vignettes, concept of operations/concepts of employment, and metrics the team develops. This person will also develop documents and briefings to communicate these products to senior leaders and the rest of the team. The ideal candidate has self-motivation and initiative, capable of functioning independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting while adhering to strict timelines. The candidate should have experience with generating system and system-of-system concept of operations, concept of employment, and requirements documentation.

The anticipated work location is in Alexandria, VA, on site. Travel: less than 10%.

Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree
8+ years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis, production, and management
Strong understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) and the United States Intelligence Community (USIC).
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in conveying complex technical issues and in providing comprehensive written, oral and/or digital products.
Excellent analytical skills
US citizen with TS/SCI clearance

Desired Experience

Previous experience in a J2 or J3.
Experience with architecture and modeling & simulation teams to help correctly capture the operational tasks from the vignettes in the various analysis tools.
Prior experience in a Combatant Command or Joint Staff.
