Job Description

Working within the Rights & Revenue Protection (RRP) team, the Intelligence Analyst will support investigations relating to the protection of Sportradar's intellectual property and revenue recovery activities across Europe and North America. 

The role focuses on identifying and assessing threats to Sportradar's content, data and commercial interests, including unauthorised data usage, piracy and intellectual property infringement. Using a range of open-source, cyber and commercial data sources, the analyst will deliver intelligence that supports enforcement activity, commercial outcomes and strategic decision-making. 

The position requires a motivated intelligence professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and supports stakeholders across the wider Sportradar Group.

THE CHALLENGE 

  • Conduct intelligence investigations using an all-source approach across rights protection, enforcement and revenue recovery matters.  
  • Collect, analyse and evaluate intelligence from open-source, cyber and commercial sources.  
  • Conduct OSINT and CYBINT/DNINT investigations to produce actionable intelligence and recommendations.  
  • Identify and investigate unauthorised use of Sportradar data, content and intellectual property.  
  • Develop and maintain intelligence holdings relating to organisations, individuals and platforms operating across Europe and North America.  
  • Monitor emerging risks and trends relevant to intellectual property protection, piracy, sports betting and revenue recovery.  
  • Produce intelligence reports, analytical assessments and stakeholder briefings.  
  • Support enforcement and commercial recovery initiatives through intelligence development and research.  
  • Work closely across multiple Sportradar functions and departments to protect and enhance Sportradar business operations, including internal and external training and education on sports integrity. 

ABOUT YOU

  • 2+ years' experience in intelligence, investigations, law enforcement, journalism, cyber security, financial crime, fraud, due diligence or a related analytical field. 
  • Experience conducting analytical investigations and producing intelligence-led outputs. 
  • Demonstrable expertise in OSINT, HUMINT, CYBINT/DNINT or comparable intelligence methodologies. 
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to collect, evaluate and interpret information from multiple sources and produce actionable intelligence. 
  • Knowledge of online ecosystems, digital platforms and investigative research techniques. 
  • Awareness of data protection legislation and associated implications. 
  • High standards of confidentiality, integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English essential, professional working proficiency in French or another living language strongly preferred. 

Advantageous 

  • Experience using intelligence analysis tools such as i2 Analyst's Notebook, Maltego or similar. 
  • Knowledge of the international sports betting, gaming, media or anti-piracy landscapes. 
  • Professional networks or regional knowledge across Europe and/or North America. 
  • Experience conducting investigations relating to intellectual property infringement, brand protection, digital piracy or revenue recovery. 
  • Understanding of corporate structures, beneficial ownership research and due diligence methodologies. 
  • Experience working with commercial intelligence databases and specialist investigative tools. 
  • Relevant intelligence, investigation or analytical certifications.
