The Boeing Company is seeking an Intellectual Property Licensing Specialist to join their team! This position is with the commercial aerospace licensing team which helps keep the worldwide commercial air fleet safely flying. The team licenses Boeing intellectual property in close coordination with Boeing Commercial Airplanes and Boeing Global Services to enable third parties to provide services for the Boeing fleet, including aircraft maintenance, modifications, parts manufacturing, simulators, and more. The team is open to a wide range of experience levels for this role; including Associate and Experienced Intellectual Property Licensing Specialist.
In this role you will handle commercial licensing and work closely with the commercial businesses to develop new licenses. This includes developing new licensing leads, internal coordination with stakeholders, negotiating and executing successful licenses, and managing ongoing relationships. The role requires a broad skill set including understanding intellectual property, negotiation, cross-enterprise coordination, account management, business case analysis, financial analysis, and advising business units.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conducts development of intellectual property licensing opportunities consistent with company strategies
- Responds to external requests for established license programs
- Develops prospective licensees and licensing opportunities and evaluates content for technical value
- Conducts market analysis, industry trends and regulatory developments impacting license programs
- Prepares pricing information and develop communication plans
- Evaluates alternative business strategies for utilizing intellectual property licensing
- Manages relationship with licensees
- Supports the integration of business objectives, strategies and plans with licensing opportunities and market development
- Utilizes appropriate methodologies to recommend the value or price of future opportunities
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed locations. On-site work will be at a minimum of 3 days per week.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 2+ years of experience in negotiation and contracting processes
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Licensing or intellectual property experience
- Experience with financial acumen
- MBA, finance, or law degree
- Experience with strategic business plans
- Familiarity with the aerospace industry

Summary Pay Range for Associate (Level 2): $80,750-$117,300
Summary Pay Range for Experienced (Level 3): $106,250-$154,100
