Job Description
Focuses on collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on inventory, logistics, suppliers, and performance to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities, enabling data‑driven decision‑making across the supply chain. Takes this data and drafts detailed reports on the nature, scope, and impact of compromises, including actionable recommendations.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Program Manager: Pay commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Monitoring: Gather and maintain data on inventory levels, logistics performance, supplier operations, and delivery timelines
Analysis & Insight Generation: Analyze collected data to identify trends, bottlenecks, cost drivers, and efficiency gains; use statistical and analytical methods to support strategic decisions
Reporting & Visualization: Build dashboards, performance reports, and KPI trackers; present findings clearly to operations, procurement, and management teams
Supplier & Vendor Assessment: Evaluate vendor performance, compliance, and risk; maintain relationships with shippers and suppliers
Process Improvement: Recommend and support initiatives to optimize supply chain processes, reduce waste, and improve service delivery
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with procurement, logistics, IT, and planning teams to integrate data into decision‑making and operational workflows
Key Requirements
Analytical & Data Skills — Proficiency in data analysis tools, SQL, Excel, and business intelligence platforms
Supply Chain Knowledge — Understanding of inventory management, logistics, procurement, and supplier risk management
Problem‑Solving — Ability to diagnose issues and propose actionable solutions
Communication — Clear verbal and written communication skills to effectively conduct reporting and presentation of complex data to non‑technical stakeholders
Technology Fluency — Comfort with AI‑assisted analytics, forecasting tools, and automation platform
Experience: 5+ years in a similar role; in defense sectors, 5–10 years in DoD/IC or related environments
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
Education — bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business analytics, logistics, or related field
Certifications — APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)/ Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or other relevant credentials not required but preferred

Skills Required
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar supply chain intelligence, analytics, logistics, or related role
- 5–10 years of experience in Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or related environments for defense-sector work
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business analytics, logistics, or a related field
- Proficiency with data analysis tools, SQL, Excel, and business intelligence platforms
- Knowledge of inventory management, logistics, procurement, and supplier risk management
- Ability to produce reports and communicate complex data to nontechnical stakeholders
- Ability to pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, or another relevant supply chain credential
