Job Description

The Integration Project Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of integration projects within the Sika Group. Reporting directly to the Team Head of Digital Integration, this role is primarily accountable for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of Integration developments (API,…) in the Sika MuleSoft Integration Platform (SikaMIP), as well as other strategic integration initiatives across the Sika Group.

Qualifications

Main Responsabilities

  • Conduct both high-level and detailed planning of project lifecycle phases and activities.
  • Provide consultation and coaching to all team members on Agile Project Management and Agile Software Development practices, while tailoring processes to align with the specific context of each project.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive Project Management Plans, including risk assessment, cost estimation, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and track project progress, ensuring timely and accurate status reporting to key Stakeholders and Steering Committee teams.
  • Establish strong alignment with and provide support to internal partners (e.g., Application Owners) in the implementation of integration initiatives.
  • Support the Integration Analyst(s) to define high-level requirements from Business Stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts, including features and user stories.
  • Partner with Integration Architect(s) and Specialists to document and manage detailed technical and functional requirements.
  • Ensure seamless communication and collaboration between all internal and external Project Stakeholders to drive project success.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Marketing or other advanced degree.
  • Several years' experience of managing digital integration projects.
  • Proven experience with agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum) in software development projects with external and internal developers.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; German an advantage.
  • Excellent ability to interact with technical and non-technical teams including vendors, key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and techniques (e.g. development of project management plans, process maps and stakeholder workshops).
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Additionally Desired

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-Project Management Institute (PMI), Certified ScrumMaster (CMS) and/or other agile certification.
  • Experience or knowledge of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform suite of products (Runtime Engine, CloudHub, API Manager, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) and Test-Driven Development.
  • Experience with cross-functional project teams in international/multi-cultural work environments.
