Detailed Job Description

The requirement is for engineers experienced with Kafka (specifically Confluent Platform but preferably Cloud), have experience designing/building/supporting event driven services, and have a solid background in DevOps/Platform Engineering/SRE.

Skills Required

Experience with Kafka Broker Architecture, Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, Consumer Groups, and Confluent Platform or Confluent Cloud
Experience developing and enforcing eventing standards and governance guardrails
Experience designing, developing, and implementing event-driven use cases outside Kafka platform architecture
Experience with GCP Compute and Google Cloud Storage, or equivalent AWS or Azure experience
Experience with New Relic and Sumo Logic, or equivalent observability tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, or Datadog
Knowledge of ACL and RBAC controls, OAuth 2.0 client credentials flow, mTLS, TLS, certificate management, and secrets management
Experience with DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE
