Integration Analyst

What you’ll achieve

As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and delivery of interface solutions work packages for Dedalus applications and solutions in conjunction with client and third-party application systems.

This is to achieve interoperability with a range of healthcare application systems, either as individual interface deployments, a full electronic patient record or as part of a wider client integration managed service utilizing integration engine technology components, working in conjunction with client and third-party vendors in addition to Dedalus project teams.

Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • To carry out technical analysis, design, configuration, testing, data mapping and implementation activities of interface work packages for interoperability with the Dedalus product portfolio. 
  • Generate first-of-type Dedalus integration work packages and strategic “gold-build” interface solutions to achieve interoperability with the new strategic Dedalus products.
  • To assist with the full range of testing activities and associated documentation production, for both internal tests and customer acceptance tests. Utilizing technical skills to create test stubs and test harnesses as required for interfaces. 
  • To evaluate requested changes for existing interface work packages and create specifications according to established standards and procedures in a timely manner. 
  • To assist the Project, Support and Customer Services colleagues by trouble shooting integration customer support issues, especially when they pose a clinical risk. 
  • To review product release notices and carry out impact analysis of product upgrades on interfaces as required.

Essential Requirements

  • Preference for Education to Degree Level in Information Management, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration in the specialized Application, or related field is required.
  • Extensive, detailed analysis skills in a technical environment, with experience in Implementation, development and support of health systems software interfaces and communication protocols and standard messaging structures (HL7, TCP/IP, ASTM, FHIR, JSON) desired, with ability to create and interpret logical and physical data models.
  • Extended experience working in a healthcare environment, implementing, or otherwise working closely with healthcare application systems is preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing, analyzing, implementing, and supporting applications, interfaces, databases and/or web related projects and ability to multi-task on multiple project implementations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and presentation abilities for effective collaboration with the Dedalus project team and clients are essential for this role.
