Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a skilled Integrated Master Scheduler to join our growing team!
In this role you will be joining a small, fast-moving program team supporting a classified space portfolio. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and analyzing an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across multiple projects, ensuring schedule integrity, resource alignment, and program fidelity to key milestones.  This role requires a detail-oriented critical thinker and self-starter who can pull in data from various data sets independently and make recommendations enabling program management decisions.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop, maintain, and status the program IMS in Microsoft Project, ensuring fully networked logic, dependencies, and alignment with program milestones.

  • Perform critical path analysis, resource loading, and schedule performance tracking.

  • Ensure integration of schedules across IPTs, suppliers, WBS elements, and subcontractors.

  • Apply resource loading to support realistic staffing plans and capacity assessments in coordination with program leads and business management.

  • Prepare and deliver schedule reports, metrics, and forecasts.

  • Support schedule risk assessments and “what-if” analyses to evaluate alternatives, quantify schedule risk, and inform risk mitigation strategies.

  • Maintain configuration control of the baseline schedule, documenting changes, rationales, and impacts.

  • Ensure schedule activities and logic reflect technical baselines, interfaces, and dependencies across space, ground, software, integration, and test activities.

  • Contribute to acquisition and program planning (e.g. IMS deliverables, CDRLs, proposal volumes, Integrated Master Plan, RFP responses, and task order proposals).

  • Contribute to preparation and review of acquisition documents, technical reviews, and schedule-related contract deliverables and proposals.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active TS/SCI required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field, with additional years of experience counting in lieu of a degree.

  • 5+ years of experience in program scheduling in a program office or large system development environment, preferably in space, defense, or aerospace.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Project for building and maintaining fully networked schedules, including dependencies, constraints, and resource assignments.

  • Experience supporting Integrated Master Schedules for complex, multi-discipline programs with multiple IPTs and subcontractors.

  • Understanding of EVM principles.

  • Experience conducting critical path analysis and communicating schedule status, risks, and impacts to program stakeholders.

  • Project management principles

  • Ability to communicate technical and programmatic information clearly across diverse teams

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Prior experience supporting a space system program in a government or industry program office.

  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methods and ability to align schedule activities with system models and architectures.

  • Familiarity with systems engineering (requirements, design, integration, verification, validation) and their translation into schedule logic and milestones.

  • Experience with configuration management processes and tools, including maintaining traceability between the IMS, baselines, and program documentation.

  • Experience writing or contributing to acquisition and program documents (e.g. IMP, RFPs and proposals) for DoD or intelligence community customers.
