About the Role
As a Designer, Layout, you are a developing professional with growing mastery of basic layout functions. You will design and implement integrated circuit layouts with moderate complexity, working with reasonable guidance while taking on increasingly challenging projects that contribute to ADI's innovative products.
Key Responsibilities

  • Resolves moderately complex layout problems requiring analysis
  • Works with moderate guidance on defined objectives
  • Handles short-term focused projects with clear deliverables
  • May provide coaching to junior engineers
  • Designs and implements integrated circuit layouts with moderate complexity
  • Performs timing extraction and analysis with increasing independence
  • Uses EDA tools for layout and verification with growing proficiency

Must Have Skills

  • Layout Fundamentals: Demonstrated competence in IC layout design principles and implementation
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in IC layout, CMOS technology, timing analysis, and EDA tools
  • Process Understanding: Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes
  • Business Awareness: Understanding of how individual work impacts business objectives
  • Communication Skills: Professional communication abilities to coordinate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $92,880 to $127,710.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.

  • This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
