Role Overview
The Personal Lines Sales Specialist is responsible for converting inbound leads into bound personal lines policies — including auto, home, umbrella, and related products. You will manage your own pipeline, respond quickly to new opportunities, and deliver a consultative experience that sets our agency apart. This role is commission-based with uncapped earning potential and strong agency support.

Key Responsibilities Lead Management & Sales
Respond promptly to inbound personal lines leads generated through agency marketing channels.
Qualify prospects and identify the right coverage options across auto, home, umbrella, and specialty lines.
Present quotes from multiple carriers in a clear, consultative manner.
Follow up persistently to move prospects through the pipeline and close new business.
Meet or exceed monthly production targets for new business written premium.
Client Relationship & Retention
Deliver an exceptional client experience from first contact through policy issuance.
Educate clients on their coverage options and the advantages of working with an independent agency.
Build a referral pipeline by delivering consistently outstanding service.
Pipeline & Technology
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the agency CRM system.
Leverage comparative raters and quoting tools to generate competitive proposals efficiently.
Track activity, follow-up tasks, and pipeline metrics to maximize conversion rates.
Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in personal lines insurance sales.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a performance-driven environment.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and consultative sales skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems, comparative raters, and sales technology.
Preferred
Experience at an independent insurance agency.
Experience working with luxury and high net worth individuals (Home and Auto)
Familiarity with personal lines carriers and underwriting guidelines.
Insurance designations (CISR, CPCU, CIC) are a plus.
