As our Insurance Operations Manager, reporting to Rilwan, CEO, you will spearhead the integration and implementation of insurance products, ensuring they seamlessly align with our operational processes and systems. You will develop and manage robust product support and infrastructure, driving efficiency and scalability. Your expertise will be pivotal in managing partner integrations, overseeing multiple projects concurrently, and maintaining strong relationships with our partners. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our Head of Product to identify and implement necessary systems and processes post-implementation, ensuring the ongoing success and optimization of our insurance offerings.

What you'll do

  • Lead carrier integrations and product implementations for insurance offerings.
  • Develop and optimize operational processes and systems for incorporating insurance products into Gigeasy.
  • Build robust product support and system infrastructure for insurance products.
  • Manage partner integrations and oversee multiple project implementations simultaneously.
  • Serve as a key partner-facing representative, ensuring seamless integration and support.
  • Possess a strong understanding of commercial insurance (Property & Casualty).
  • Travel to Houston, TX, and collaborate with the team onsite for one week each quarter while working remotely.

About you

  • Bring a wealth of consulting experience, having worked with multiple companies, preferably with leading firms or in the insurtech space.
  • Has 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, showcasing the ability to juggle priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of commercial insurance, particularly Property & Casualty, which enables navigation of the complexities of insurance product integration and support.
  • Demonstrates strong technical skills to develop and optimize operational processes and systems, ensuring seamless integration of insurance products.
  • Excels in a collaborative environment, working closely with the Product Manager and other stakeholders to identify and implement necessary systems and processes post-implementation.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners, ensuring successful integrations and ongoing support.

Nice to have (not required)

  • Experience working within an insurtech company, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities in this space.
  • Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or insurance (e.g., CPCU, AINS) that demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and expertise.
  • Familiarity with tools and software commonly used in insurance operations and project management, such as CRM systems, project management software, and insurance platforms.
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile, to drive efficiency and scalability within the operations team.
  • Understand insurance regulations and compliance requirements to ensure all processes and products meet industry standards.
  • Consulting experience, providing insights and strategies for improving operational efficiency and product integration.
