Job duties:
Work hybrid remote.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary.
- Independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials
Required:
· NJ and/or NY bar
· Recent insurance defense experience
You should know some of the following:
· General, Premises Liability
· MVA, Personal Injury
· Construction Defect, NY Labor Law
· Products Liability, Toxic Torts
· Medical Malpractice
· Insurance Coverage
Skills Required
- Admission to the New Jersey and/or New York bar
- Recent insurance defense experience
- Knowledge of General and Premises Liability matters
- Knowledge of Motor Vehicle Accidents and Personal Injury
- Knowledge of Construction Defect and New York Labor Law
- Knowledge of Products Liability and Toxic Torts
- Knowledge of Medical Malpractice
- Knowledge of Insurance Coverage issues
