We are currently seeking an Insurance and Annuities Administrator to provide high-quality administrative, operational, and sales support for D.A. Davidson’s insurance and annuity business. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Director of Insurance and Annuities this role is responsible for supporting Davidson’s Financial Professionals (FPs) and internal partners in the area of state insurance licensing and appointments, continuing education, annuity and life insurance order processing, reporting and recordkeeping to help FPs grow and manage their annuity and insurance business in an efficient manner. Additionally, the Insurance and Annuities Administrator will coordinate with insurance carriers, vendors, and internal teams to provide order entry and RegBI documentation support on new business. This role does not provide investment, insurance, or product recommendations.
 
Primary Duties:
•    Conduct administrative review of new annuity and life insurance orders to confirm required paperwork, licensing, training, and firm documentation are complete before submission or processing.
•    Support FPs with state insurance licensing requirements, renewal reminders, continuing education tracking, and related administrative questions.
•    Collaborate with the Vice President, Director of Insurance & Annuities on support process and projects as needed.
•    Submit and monitor carrier appointment requests on behalf of FPs, including follow-up with carriers, vendors, and internal registration or compliance partners.
•    Assist with AFFIRM and RightBridge Annuity Wizard cases.
•    Process and reconcile monthly insurance and annuity commission reports, identify discrepancies, and coordinate follow-up with carriers, vendors, accounting, or internal partners as needed.
•    Claim newly issued insurance and annuity contracts in applicable reporting systems and maintain accurate records for production, reporting, and oversight purposes.
•    Document insurance and annuity transactions in firm recordkeeping systems and maintain organized files for carrier selling agreements, product information, and transaction support materials.
•    Respond to advisor and associate inquiries in a timely, professional manner and provide clear guidance on administrative processes, required forms, submission steps, and status updates.
•    Coordinate with carrier wholesalers, service teams, broker general agencies, technology vendors, and internal departments to resolve operational issues and support efficient case processing.
•    Maintain awareness of approved insurance and annuity platforms, carriers, products, and administrative workflows to help ensure consistent support to advisor teams.
•    Identify process improvement opportunities related to forms, workflow, communication, recordkeeping, reporting, and advisor support.
•    Participate in Advisor Solutions Team or other Wealth Management projects and initiatives as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
•    Prior experience supporting insurance, annuity, wealth management, brokerage, banking, or financial services operations.
•    Strong administrative, organizational, and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, CRM and web-based workflow or document management systems.
•    Knowledge of Annuity, Life Insurance, Long Term Care & Disability Insurance products, new business processing, and licensing and education requirements.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain processes and requirements clearly to advisor teams and internal partners.
•    High attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing forms, reports, and transaction documentation.
•    Ability to work in a regulated financial services environment and maintain confidentiality with client, advisor, and firm information.
•    Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with internal departments, external carrier partners, vendors, and advisor teams.

The potential starting base salary range for this role is $68,000-$83,500. The compensation offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis considering a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the skills, relevant work experience, and geographic location of each specific candidate.
