As an Instructional Designer on Lightcast’s global Product Operations team, you’ll take ownership of product-focused learning experiences that make complex platforms and labor market data easier to understand and use. You will design and deliver scalable training content that supports internal enablement, external certifications, and user adoption.

You are comfortable working independently, confident translating technical material into intuitive learning paths, and skilled at designing content that scales with our growing product portfolio.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop interactive learning experiences for Lightcast’s software products and data platforms, including certification programs, product walkthroughs, onboarding modules, and internal enablement.
  • Build structured learning paths that take users from beginner to advanced proficiency, using adult learning best practices and measurable learning objectives.
  • Own content creation using Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline), developing modules that are polished, intuitive, and aligned to our global design standards.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders in Product, Documentation, Customer Success, and Enablement to identify training needs and ensure content supports business goals.
  • Support product and feature launches with timely training for internal and external audiences.
  • Measure and improve learning programs based on feedback, usage data, and learner performance.
  • Contribute to content templates, standards, and governance practices to support a consistent, scalable training ecosystem.

Education & Experience:

  • 5–7 years of experience designing instructional content, ideally in SaaS or data-driven environments.
  • Expert in Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline), with additional proficiency in Vyond and basic video/audio editing tools.
  • Strong foundation in instructional design and adult learning theory with real-world application.
  • Skilled at translating complex software and data concepts into clear, outcome-based training.
  • Proven experience developing product-focused training, certifications, or structured learning paths.
  • Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS); hands-on experience is a strong plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Self-starter with strong ownership mindset; able to prioritize and deliver independently.
  • Effective team player with experience working in cross-functional, global teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
