About the role

Reporting to the Manager, Instructional Design, the Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing best-in-class training and learning content that provides an incredible customer experience and creates raving fans through engaging and effective content across all Bullhorn product lines. This is a highly consultative and collaborative role where you will work closely with numerous departments and subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement standardized instructor-led training content, guides, product playbooks and eLearning modules.

By creating top-notch content, you will be a key contributor in our efforts to improve the overall employee, partner and customer experience and promote product adoption. 

 

A typical day will include…

  • Leading the learning experience design process including: discovery, planning, development, evaluation, and iterative improvements.
  • Scoping, communicating, and planning for SME involvement to ensure accurate content design.
  • Developing engaging, modular and interactive product training content that is focused on the learner’s daily role functions, combining Bullhorn Best Practices with Industry Best Practices.
  • Creating product certification assets, including proficiency assessments and rubrics.
  • Presenting information using a variety of instructional techniques and formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures.

This role is a fit for you if...

  • You have 2+ years of relevant instructional design and/or content development experience.
  • You have strong writing and layout skills to compose workbooks, self-directed training materials, and learning assessments.
  • You are a good listener, can multitask, and have excellent time management skills.
  • You can manage a project by taking the initiative to influence others who may not report to you.
  • You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills that help you excel at handling ambiguity.
  • You can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining close attention to detail and having the flexibility to meet frequently changing deadlines.
