Writing: it's your one true love. You're a detail-oriented individual with exceptional writing and editing skills. You don't just know your way around a sentence, though; you have a keen understanding of how to adapt your writing voice according to project and audience needs. You take the learner into account as much as possible, making decisions based on how it might benefit them and drive meaningful behavior change. And your ability to cut through complexity and turn broad ideas into clear, concise messaging means your writing resonates with the intended audience and meets them where they are.

Whether participating in client discovery conversations or collaborating with colleagues, you know how to navigate discussions, extract essential information, and translate it into strategic, well-organized content. You're not just a strong communicator-you're an active listener who understands how to shape messaging that aligns with goals and objectives. 

Organization is a strength of yours and you're a pro with desktop publishing software such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite. You're also a quick learner-when you encounter a new tool or platform, you're curious and ready to dive in. When it comes to your work, you set an example for others for what quality and execution look like. And, you're not just happy to work in a collaborative team environment-you thrive in one.

What you'll be doing

• Writing outlines, storyboards, and scripts for learning experiences (eLearning courses, vILT, resources, etc.)
• Researching and synthesizing a variety of source materials, such as project briefs, training slide decks, client-provided documents, marketing brochures, journal articles, standard operating procedures, and client feedback to inform instructional content
• Implementing revisions to your written content based on constructive feedback from other project team members and considering how those revisions may impact the entire learning experience 
• Managing your time in order to meet project milestones and deadlines for your projects
• Taking ownership of your tasks and keep the project team updated on progress through proactive communication

Talents we're looking for

• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear and concise instructional content for diverse audiences
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and methodologies
• Experience working with eLearning authoring tools like Articulate Rise and Storyline 360 is a plus
• Knowledge of various writing style guidelines, such as AMA, AP, and Chicago, with adaptability to client-specific voice and tone
• Excellent time-management and communication skills
• Comfort using Google Workspace and other digital collaboration tools
• An average of 20-hour a week availability when active on projects
