Role: Mid to Senior SDET, IT consultant

Summary
We’re looking for a hands-on SDET to help our client ship reliable software at pace. You’ll build and maintain automated tests across mobile, APIs, and services, contribute to CI/CD quality gates, and champion pragmatic, clean testing practices in an Agile environment.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and maintain automated tests for mobile apps, back-end APIs, and services.
- Confidently using tech such as Azure DevOps, Git, Appium, RestAssured, WireMock, k6/JMeter/Gatling, Docker, Java, SQL, Bash/PowerShell.
- Drive coverage across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers, aligned to the test pyramid.
- Keep suites fast and reliable in CI/CD, and surface results clearly to the team.
- Contribute to code reviews, automation libraries, and test tooling.
- Create and run performance and non-functional tests, troubleshoot issues, and improve pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineers and product to clarify requirements and raise quality early.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years (Mid), and 5/6 years plus (Senior) in a coding/scripting role (Java or similar).
- Solid CS fundamentals and OO design.
- Proven test automation for mobile and back-end services.
- CI/CD experience, ideally with Azure DevOps (test management and pipelines).
- Strong Git, scripting (Bash or PowerShell), and advanced SQL.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum teams and clear communication under pressure.
- ISTQB Foundation (or equivalent practical experience).
Bonus skills
- Appium, RestAssured, WireMock.
- Load/perf tools such as k6, JMeter, or Gatling.
- BDD/TDD, containers (Docker), and mentoring juniors.
