INSIDE SALES
Position Summary
The Inside Sales is responsible for supporting the sale of replacement parts, repair services, and aftermarket solutions for pumps, valves, and related equipment. This position serves as a primary point of contact for customers, providing technical and commercial support, preparing quotations, processing orders, coordinating repairs, and ensuring timely customer communication throughout the sales and service process. The role requires strong customer service skills, product knowledge, and the ability to work closely with outside sales, service, engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary inside sales contact for customers requiring pump and valve replacement parts, repairs, and service solutions.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding pricing, availability, lead times, repair status, and technical information.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and follow-up.
- Prepare accurate quotations for replacement parts based on customer requirements, equipment specifications, and manufacturer recommendations.
- Process customer orders and ensure accurate entry into the ERP system.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling related products, services, and upgrade solutions.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to verify pricing, inventory availability, and delivery schedules.
- Reviews customer requests for U.S. Navy project quotations considering factory capability, factory capacity, and financial results.
- Prepares and submits written (verbal where appropriate) quotations for U.S. Navy project customers and representatives in accordance with CIRCOR and customer requirements.
- Finalizes negotiation with customers. Knowledge of T&C is necessary.
- Review customer repair requests and coordinate repair evaluations, inspections, and quotations.
- Track repair projects from receipt through completion and shipment.
- Communicate repair findings, recommended corrective actions, and associated costs to customers.
- Coordinate with service technicians and operations personnel to ensure repairs are completed according to customer expectations and delivery commitments.
- Assist customers in identifying replacement parts using drawings, bills of material, manuals, and equipment records.
- Provide technical product information related to pump and valve applications, maintenance, and repair solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, service, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical and commercial issues.
- Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer's satisfaction and sales potential.

- Understanding of pumps, valves, rotating equipment, or mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with aftermarket parts sales, repair processes, and industrial service operations.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and inside sales practices.
- Understanding of pricing, quoting, order processing, and inventory management concepts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build customer relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, exploded views, parts lists, and equipment documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Experience using ERP and CRM systems.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree in Business, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of inside sales, customer service, aftermarket sales, or industrial service experience.
