This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with plans and specs, collaborating with engineers and contractors, and playing a key role in securing work upstream.
What You’ll Do
As part of our Commercial Sales team, you’ll act as a technical and sales resource, helping drive specification success by:
- Providing sales and technical support to wholesalers, engineers, contractors, regional sales teams, customer service, and independent reps
- Qualifying and tracking leads through company-subscribed lead services
- Reviewing plans, specifications, and fixture schedules to calculate take-offs, generate quotes, and build submittal packages
- Supporting specification efforts by cross-referencing products and providing technical guidance
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with engineers, contractors, and rep partners to drive brand awareness and influence specifications
- Coordinating and hosting Lunch-and-Learn presentations to educate customers and secure specifications
- Assisting internal teams with specification drainage inquiries and technical information
You’ll regularly interact with plumbing wholesale distributors, plumbing/mechanical contractors, engineers, and our independent rep agency network.
Additional Opportunities

- Travel occasionally for training sessions or industry trade shows
- Assist with sales reporting and expense tracking
- Help design and set up product demonstrations and training displays
Requirements
What Sets You Up for Success
- Strong understanding of how to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and fixture schedules
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly—both written and verbal
- Comfortable working in Microsoft applications and managing multiple priorities
- Interest in building deep expertise in specification drainage and trench drain systems
- Prior experience in plumbing, drainage, construction products, or technical sales support is a plus
