Fluidra is looking for an Inside Sales Specialist to join our team in Carlsbad, CA.

 

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing new leads to expand engagement and accelerate growth. The position’s key responsibility will be to target and support new sales opportunities through outbound cold and warm calls. This person will promote vital product information to pool professionals that will encourage product purchases. In addition, this person will promote available promotions and programs.

The Inside Sales Specialist will work closely with the field sales and service teams to share vital information regarding the customer, which can vary from end-to-end closing or qualifying leads to setting a sales appointment for a specialist to close. To be successful in this position, the candidate should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. A top Inside Sales Specialist should also be very competitive and a good listener. Additionally, you will: 

  • Close sales and achieve individual quotas.
  • Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Prospect and identify potential customers via phone, email, and other methods.
  • Proactively work a pre-defined customer call list, identify key decision-makers, and cultivate business opportunities.
  • Makes outbound cold calls and emails sales collateral to customers to drive sales and assess customer needs, recommending and upselling products, programs, promotions, and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular follow-ups and communication.
  • Maintain accurate and frequent customer information within an internal database system.
  • Become an expert on available products, programs and promotions offered.
  • Stay informed regarding competing products and services.
  • Utilize CRM tools to maximize conversion success.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM of sales activities, wins / losses, and competitive information. 

 

WHAT WE SEEK

  • 4+ years of experience in an outbound call center, inside sales, or customer facing job.
  • Experience with selling or marketing to customers.
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written, and active listening skills.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills and ability to thrive with repetition.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel in specified targeted customer companies.
  • Ability to understand service, repair, and renovation company business model and needs.
  • Proficient with CRM software and other sales technology tools.
  • Ability to operate basic Microsoft office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience troubleshooting and installing swimming pool products is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge of Fluidra products and swimming pool equipment is a plus.
     

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.

Expected hourly rate range is $26.50 – $31.25/ hour. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, sales commission bonus, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location. Your recruiter will provide additional details on our compensation and total rewards program.
