We are currently hiring for a counter sales representative at our Sacramento location. This position will consist of assisting customers at the counter and over the phone with their building material needs. Excellent customer service skills, proper phone etiquette, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail are required for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Become competent in product knowledge to have an understanding of the customers’ project needs.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with a focus on customer retention
- Probe customers for opportunities to increase sales and/or satisfaction at every interaction
- Manage and resolve customer questions and issues related to quotes, orders, and deliveries
- Strong phone and personal communication skills
- Multi tasking abilities and strong attention to detail
- Strong and organized sales skills
- Enter and process customer orders using Order Entry Software (Sage 100)
- High degree of self-motivation
- Computer literate
- Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical helpful
