Redgate Software is looking for someone who is interested in starting a career in software sales. We welcome all types of backgrounds. We are looking for someone with a determined and collaborative work ethic, is bright and enthusiastic, is experienced in customer service/support or sales, and wants to develop enterprise software solution selling skills. Furthermore, they're interested in gaining knowledge in a variety of IT principles and environments, database platforms and workflows (ie. DevOps, Agile, Azure DevOps, AWS, SQL, Git) so that they can best qualify each startup or enterprise customer we support with resources and solution selling. As a member of our Inside Sales Team, you will be responsible for working with our core business, identifying opportunities to increase penetration of Redgate primary solutions within a variety of organizations and industry verticals.

What is an Inside Sales Representative responsible for?
Conducting business professionally, through clear communication with potential customers, while maintaining the core values of Redgate
Learning and maintaining expert knowledge in Redgate’s four core solutions and competitive landscape
Helping customers discover unmet needs and deliver insightful value through our product options, occasional product demos, and sales support
Qualify new leads for account executives in the AMER region
Operating within a team that partners with other sales functions to achieve mutually aligned sales quotas each month
Using a dynamic phone and email presence to engage prospects early in their decision-making process
What makes you Redgate’s next Inside Sales Representative?
1+ years of sales or customer service related experience
You possess a strong desire to pursue a career in Tech Sales
You have extraordinary communication skills, both written and oral
You have a team mentality and are comfortable working collaboratively
You seek to understand while going above and beyond for the team and clients
You can learn sales methodologies that can be applied to any sales opportunity
A successful track record in sales (preferably in solution-based tech products)
Track record of consistent call activities to drive engagement with prospective customers
A general understanding of databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or others), version control (Git), and CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
A general understanding of sales methodologies, like BANT and MEDDPICC
A proven ability to learn and understand technical information
Passionate about sales and have the drive to grow your sales career
A genuine interest in technology and how it works
You’re familiar with working an opportunity from a lead, qualifying it and then close winning it
You have a desire to understand the issues being faced by our customers
You’re a proactive team player and aim to get the best out of those around you
You are familiar with Office 365, Salesforce, Clari,, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and/or Zuora

Salary
The salary on offer for this role is $50,000-60,000, paid as an hourly rate
