The Team
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join American Tower’s Inside Sales team within the Vertical Markets department. Day to day you will focus on pre-sale support, business development and leasing of equipment and ground space to non-wireless carrier accounts. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will partner cross-functionally to champion customer issues, challenges and opportunities internally while providing excellent customer service.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You Can Offer Us
- Lead customer sales calls with consistent follow through; maintain thorough knowledge of products and service offerings.
- Collaborate across sales department to determine customer engagement strategies and corresponding sales plan.
- Provide pre-sales tower site support including identifying available tower and ground space, providing collateral on the leasing process and supporting new customers through the credit approval and application submission process.
- Achieve goals for new business leasing as measured by dollar volume of fully executed leases. Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Present creative solutions that capture greater market share while solving customer challenges.
- Provide accurate and timely pipeline and lease up forecasting in Salesforce.com
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with customer service and negotiation required
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM strongly preferred
- Proven ability to successfully manage complex projects utilizing strong negotiation strategies that drive value.
- Strong follow-up skills; ability to organize department timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs
- Telecommunications experience a plus.
- Approximately 5% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
