We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is critical in supporting customers with post-sale product needs, including parts, service inquiries, and warranty claims. As the first point of contact, you will work directly with customers through phone, email, and online portals to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of their needs.
You'll be responsible for creating and processing sales proposals and orders, providing expert advice, and coordinating with internal departments to meet customer expectations for pricing, availability, and delivery timelines. Your ability to manage relationships and maintain clear communication will directly impact our customer satisfaction and operational success.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary contact for customers requiring parts, warranty service, or post-sale support.
- Prepare and follow up on sales proposals, process orders, and provide guidance to customers on product selection and availability.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, purchasing, project management, and sales) to ensure pricing and delivery commitments are met.
- Monitor and manage open sales orders to ensure accurate and on-time fulfillment; resolve issues proactively and communicate updates to customers.
- Work closely with the Customer Service Manager to report on order progress, delays, and any customer-impacting issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing prompt, professional support on inquiries, service availability, and order status.
- Support warranty claim processing according to company policies and contractual terms.
- Assist in refining pricing structures and sales strategies to support profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures, pricing guidelines, and legal requirements when preparing and negotiating offers.
- Strong passion for customer service and relationship building.
- Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in parts distribution, inside sales, or commercial order management is preferred.
- Skilled in managing quotations, order processing, and coordinating with internal departments to meet customer requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; SAP or ERP system experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
